TLMoto is a university student project based at IST, whose main objective is to design, build and compete with a sports motorcycle at MotoStudent, an international university competition.

TLMoto is divided into technical departments: Aerodynamics & Cooling, Dynamics, Electronics, Powertrain and Structures; and non-technical departments: Human Resources, Marketing & Design and Management.

Once a year, we initiate a recruitment process, and you can apply during this period! If it’s not currently open, you can still send us a spontaneous application via email or social media.

The recruitment process typically lasts around 6 months.

To join TLMoto, you just need to be enrolled at one university in the country and be available to dedicate at least 8 hours a week to the team!

Although the majority of our members are engineering students from IST, we value interdisciplinary collaboration and welcome individuals from diverse backgrounds, such as Management, Psychology and Marketing, for example, to contribute to our team.
